Technical data & information: Brownells ar-15/m16 barrels, made for brownells by satern barrels, feature 5r button rifling and are machined from 416r gun barrel steel for a superior shooting barrel. These 5.56x45mm barrels feature a black nitride finish, for superior lubricity and corrosion resistance. Barrels have a 1-7 twist, for excellent performance with heavier bullets, especially those 62gr or heavier. Available in 10.5", 14.5" and 16" lengths. Gas systems vary by barrel length and preference. 16" barrels are available with either a carbine or mid-length gas system. 14.5" barrel replicates the issue m4 profile, while 16" barrels can be had in lightweight or medium contours mfg: brownells premium barrels.
