Technical data & information: Machined delrin rod guide ensures correct alignment of the rod and prevents the rod from contacting the barrel walls and possibly causing damage. In use, the guide slips onto the cleaning rod before installing the brush or mop, then it's inserted into the chamber end along with the tip of the rod. Safe to use with cleaning solvents or lubricants, and cannot scratch or mar the chamber in any way. Models available to fit 12, 20, and 28 gauge, plus .410 bore. The extended 12 gauge guide has an extra 5" of length and is used for semi-auto and pump gun barrels with long extensions. Mfg: brownells specs: delrin, white. Technical data & information: The o-rings on your sinclair bore guides, snouts for sinclair all purpose rod guides, solvent ports and chamber plugs should be replaced occasionally because solvents and use eventually wear them out. We use three sizes of o-rings only, so having some spares on hand is not expensive. The 222 and 223 family of guides and the 17 caliber guides do require the o-ring installation tool included in the o-ring kits. The two larger size o-rings can be installed fairly easily without the tool, though the kits include the tool for almost no additional charge over the 10 o-rings. Technical data & information: This unique product seals the chamber and bore toprevent solvents and oils from running back into theaction when the rifle is left in an upright position.For heavily fouled barrels, we use these plugs to sealthe chamber and then fill the barrel with our favoritesolvent. Then we let the barrel sit for a while. If leftovernight, you should seal the muzzle end with tapeto prevent evaporation. Make sure you fill the barrelall the way to the muzzle end. If storing guns for along time, these plugs can keep rust preventativeagents and oils from seeping down into the actionand trigger group area.
