Ed's exclusive, deep-hold grip safety drops the gun farther into the hand plus, the three memory grooves on the lower portion guides the web of the hand into the correct grip position. Raised surface area helps depress the safety and ensure positive disengagement, even for a shooter that uses a high-thumb hold. Mfg: ed brown specs: matte finish. .878" (22.3mm) from rear of hole to tip. Clearanced for commander hammer. Standard model beavertails feature a flared "tail" that quickly guides hand into position and totally eliminates hammer bite on the web between the thumb and finger. High grip model has an upswept "tail" that pushes the wrist into a straight position for faster sight pickup and recovery, and a raised pad for positive palm contact.
