Innovative, spring loaded detent button locks the sight in the upright position to ensure it won't fold down unexpectedly. Steel cross-bolt is countersunk to provide a smooth, snag-free surface. Clamps to picatinny or weaver-style flattop rails and with proper setup will co-witness with an aimpoint, eotech, or similar red-dot sight system.
