It also provides a barrier between the muzzle blast and the blast baffle of the silencer. Timing the micro-brake could not be easier. Once the silencer mount is attached to the barrel, the micro-brake is added with the provided crush washer. Simply turn the brake on the crush washer until the ports are timed in the desired orientation.
