Technical data & information: The lewis machine & tool ar-15 mrp (monolithic rail platform) upper receiver is a monolithic receiver and handguard made from a single piece of forged aerospace aluminum. Barrels are held in place with a proprietary locking system that utilizes two locking bolts accessible from the right side of the receiver. The lmt mrp gives one the ability to quickly and conveniently change calibers, barrel lengths and materials, and even gas systems. Two versions of the mrp are offered, a rifle length model, and a carbine length model.
