Tempered steel body with hardened feed lips is treated with a phosphated anti-friction coating inside and out to ensure drop-free operation and no-jam feeding. Hardened, high tensile music wire spring and supported, self-lubricated nylon follower eliminates follower tilt so every round feeds flawlessly. Flush-fitting, 18-round magazine features a tough synthetic base pad that removes easily for magazine cleaning. 20-round model includes a removable, synthetic "plus 2" base pad.
