These rifles have a proprietary side rail that makes won't accept rs's other "lower" optic mounts. But now that problem is solved! with the ak-309m you can install a modern, up-to-date red dot optic on your century ak. The rs ak-300 system pairs a "lower" mount that attaches to the side rail of a kalashnikov pattern rifle with an "upper" mount that interfaces with a specific optic model.
