Technical data & information: Machined delrin guide lets you safely clean your .30-06/.308 bolt action rifle from the breach-the proper way-by protecting the chamber and rifling from damage by the cleaning rod. Just remove the bolt assembly and insert the guide in its place to keep solvent from dripping into the action or trigger assembly. Silicone rubber "o" ring keeps the guide centered in the chamber for a snug fit and prevents solvent leakage. Then we let the barrel sit for a while. If leftovernight, you should seal the muzzle end with tapeto prevent evaporation. Make sure you fill the barrelall the way to the muzzle end. If storing guns for along time, these plugs can keep rust preventativeagents and oils from seeping down into the actionand trigger group area. Technical data & information: The o-rings on your sinclair bore guides, snouts for sinclair all purpose rod guides, solvent ports and chamber plugs should be replaced occasionally because solvents and use eventually wear them out. We use three sizes of o-rings only, so having some spares on hand is not expensive. The 222 and 223 family of guides and the 17 caliber guides do require the o-ring installation tool included in the o-ring kits. The two larger size o-rings can be installed fairly easily without the tool, though the kits include the tool for almost no additional charge over the 10 o-rings.
