The apex mass driver hammer, with sear, stirrup, and spring, replaces smith & wesson factory mim components to ensure consistent performance. Improves ignition of .22lr ammunition allows for reduced hammer fall weight and trigger pull weight converts revolver to double action only (dao), lacks a hammer spur for cocking. Works in current production s&w model 617(-4 and later) l-frame .22 rimfire revolvers only.
