Skeletonized construction provides full support without the weight of excess metal for an exceptionally strong, solid, yet lightweight mount. Four, steel, hex-head cap screws anchor the top ring half to the mount to ensure full contact with sight body to prevent slippage. Rail grabber clamping system secures the mount to receiver and maintains sight alignment even under the battering of sustained rapid fire.
