Technical data & information: Critical ignition parts are machined from high-grade tool steel for precise fit and reliable, consistent function under the most demanding operating conditions. Each component is wire-edm cut, cnc machined and honed to final dimensions with /-.005" tolerances for drop-in fit on many 1911s, then heat-treated to rc 53-56 to maintain those dimensions through thousands of firing cycles. Hammer hooks are pre-prepped and sear nose polished for precise contact and crisp, clean letoff. Commander-style hammer has elongated spur with deep serrations to provide extra-secure thumb purchase. Beveled edges resist snagging on clothing and protect the thumb from abrasion, and slightly narrower hamm mfg: harrison design & consulting specs: hardened tool steel, in-the-white. Hardened to rc 53-56. Hd-120b set's sear has a black ionbond dlc finish. Some fitting may be required. US specification & reliable quality handgun sears by Harrison. Part Nr: HD122.

Technical data & information: For those of you who buy the hd-806 true radius pro sear stoning jig and want to stone your own sear nose, but find that many aftermarket sears are either barely too short or are only tall enough to give you just one crack at stoning the nose into the radius, the hd-122-g gunsmith's sear may be just what you're looking for. It's the same edm-machined, tool steel sear that we used in all of the harrison design ignition sets, but made longer from the sear pin centerline to the nose and with the nose unfinished. They typically measure .412" /- .002". This will let the gunsmith machine and stone the sear nose to the optimum length and nose configurat mfg: harrison design & consulting. Technical data & information: Apex tactical's fully machined sear for the smith & wesson m&p series has a different geometry from the factory part that dramatically reduces trigger pull weight to less than 5 lbs., while it also shortens overtravel and improves reset speed. The end result is much better trigger feel overall. Use the fully machined m&p sear as a standalone upgrade or in conjunction with an apex spring kit and ultimate striker block (both sold separately).
