The top rail fits replaces the factory gas tube and provides 5 inches of picatinny rail space to mount optics and accessories. The low profile of the rail allows lower 1/3 co-witness with some optics. Replaces factory gas tube easily; no gunsmithing required. Length is adjustable for variation between rifle manufacturers. The short and long bottom rails are comfortable and sleek replacements for the standard wood or plastic hand guards for the ak-type rifles.
